It's the #CollegeHockey Scoreboard Show for October 8, 2024. Just two games on the schedule and both were involving ranked women’s teams from the Northeast. Here’s your roundup. No analysis, no breakdowns, maybe a few facts, but mainly, JUST THE SCORES.
Eighth-ranked St. Lawrence defeated Syracuse 4-2, sparked by three second-period goals, including Aly McLeod’s third of the season, lifting the Saints to victory.
No. 10 Quinnipiac edged Providence 1-0, with Maddy Samoskevich scoring the game’s only goal - and it came on the power play - with just about three and a half minutes to go in the game. All three of Samoskevich’s goals this season have come on the power play.
Felicia Frank made 23 saves in goal to secure the shutout for the Bobcats.
There’s nothing on the schedule for Wednesday, but Thursday’s women’s action sees Holy Cross host Boston College. There’s one men’s game scheduled, but it’s an exhibition as Bowling Green hosts Robert Morris.
Here’s a look at Friday’s schedule and we’ll lead with the women.
